- You identify, adopt and evolve trends in DevOps practices for system technologies and system architectures, e.g. through proof-of-concepts projects.
- You develop innovative software and system architectures for DevOps environments in R&D collaboration projects with Siemens business units.
- Based on their business strategy and requirements, you counsel Siemens Business units in DevOps practices, technologies, and architectures.
- You represent the topic DevOps System Architectures Siemens-internally and externally in academia and international conferences
- You collaborate with Universities and Research Institutes to drive the topic DevOps and DevOps System Architectures
- You successfully completed your Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Ph.D is a plus
- You have several years of experience as researcher and engineer in the areas of systems engineering, software & system architecture, and DevOps
- You score with your proven expertise in systems engineering, software architecture, and DevOps
- You convince us with hands-on experience in following technologies and practices: C, C++, Make, CMake, GCC, GDB, Realtime Operating Systems, Embedded Systems, Java, Python, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, CI/CD
- Modern software development methodologies, like test-driven, agile development are part of your DNA
- You are experienced in working in an international project team with strong customer service orientation
- Your profile is rounded up with excellent English and German language communication skills and the willingness to travel (25%)
- 2 to 3 days of mobile working per week as a global standard
